The Federation is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Mike Jones as Executive Medical Director (EMD).
Dr Jones will take up the role from 1 April 2026 for an initial three‑year term. He brings a strong track record of clinical leadership and has played a key role in guiding the Federation through a particularly challenging period. His work has included advancing plans to strengthen research and development, enhancing the quality of assessment, and contributing significantly to workforce planning.
The Federation looks forward to working with Dr Jones as he continues to provide leadership and strategic direction in support of high‑quality education, training and assessment.
