Associate Medical Director for Research
The Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the UK is seeking to appoint a new Associate Medical Director (AMD) for Research.
The Associate Medical Director for Research will support the Executive Medical Director in providing clinical and academic leadership for the Federation’s research strategy and its associated programmes of work. This is a senior role within the Federation’s academic leadership structure, with responsibility for advancing a diverse portfolio of research projects and ensuring the production of high‑quality outputs.
Working collaboratively with the Executive Medical Director, the postholder will develop, strengthen and deliver the Federation’s research strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and the long‑term goals set out in the Business Plan. They will contribute directly to the design and delivery of Federation research activity, ensuring methodological rigour, high‑quality data collection and advanced statistical analysis, alongside the clear and accurate reporting of results.
