The regulations for the MRCP(UK) and the Specialty Certificate/European Specialty Examinations have been updated to reflect the forthcoming return to an in-centre delivery format from June this year.
These changes are outlined in sections 4 of both documents. All examinations running prior to this will continue to be delivered using the Remote Online Proctoring (ROP) system or in-centre if indicated.
We would like to draw attention to a specific change in the SCE regulations. The eligibility requirements for sitting have been amended. If candidates have not previously taken an MRCP(UK) examination or if they are not registered with the UK General Medical Council, they must provide confirmation that they hold a Primary Medical Qualification when they apply (outlined in paragraph 3.1).
