Candidates registering to sit the MRCP(UK) Part 1 Examination will no longer be required to have their Primary Medical Qualification (PMQ) attested as part of the application process.
This change will be implemented from the application period for the 2024/04 diet, opening on 5 August 2024.
Candidates will still be required to provide a copy of a PMQ from a medical school recognised by the World Health Organisation to demonstrate that they are eligible to sit the Part 1 Examination. All documents will be reviewed by MRCP(UK), and candidates will only be asked to provide an attested copy of the document if requested to do so by MRCP(UK).
