Having investigated this matter, we have been able to determine this occurred through URL manipulation of the MyMRCP(UK) examination portal. Information about this was then posted by a small number of candidates on social media this morning.
We take matters of information security very seriously and access to the results has now been blocked and action taken to prevent this happening ahead of the release of any future examination results. We would like to reassure candidates that those who accessed the MyMRCP(UK) portal via this route were only able to see their own results and no one else’s. The MyMRCP(UK) login will be unavailable for a short time while we implement these measures.
We wish to thank those candidates who did contact the MRCP(UK) office for alerting us to this issue. Results will be issued this Friday as planned.
