This is a new post in the Federation's clinical leadership structure, which will have a pivotal role in strengthening the quality assurance processes for the MRCP(UK) and Specialty Certificate Examinations, and which demonstrates our commitment to implementing the recommendations from the McLachlan Report.
Dr Oram brings a wealth of experience to this new role, having sat on both the MRCP(UK) Part 1 and Part 2 Written Examining Boards, including serving as Medical Secretary to the MRCP(UK) Specialty Question Groups, and through her extensive background in undergraduate education at King's College London, where she is Director of Assessments, and as an advisor to the GMC's Medical Licensing Assessment. Dr Oram is also a consultant Haematologist at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust in South-East London.
