We are aware that there have been some inconsistencies in ARCP panels this year with regards what evidence is required on ePortfolio.
Some panels are insisting that both Acute Internal Medicine and General Internal Medicine ePortfolios contain detailed breakdown of practical procedure competencies.
Given that both curricula have great similarities in this regard, we advise that the procedures are recorded in the AIM curriculum and do not need to be duplicated in detail within the GIM portfolio.
We do suggest that the GIM portfolio makes reference to the procedures recorded within the AIM portfolio.
