While most applications we receive are for live and streamed events, we also approve a range of other CPD formats, including e-Learning. You can find more information about the CPD approval process here.
To support this work, we rely on the expertise of volunteer consultant and SAS members and fellows who help review applications for CPD approval. Becoming a reviewer is not only a valuable way to contribute to your profession, but can also act as a route into other college roles
What does the role involve?
- Reviewing approximately two to three applications per week (depending on specialty).
- Once familiar with the system, this typically takes around 40 - 60 minutes in total.
- Applications vary, with some requiring more detailed consideration than others.
We are currently seeking reviewers in the following specialties:
- Acute Medicine
- Clinical Genetics
- Dermatology
- Endocrinology & Diabetes
- Gastroenterology
- Medical Oncology
- Neurology
