2023/03 Part 2 exam issue: Candidate information

If you have not contacted us already, please do so via the online form soon as possible so that we have all the necessary information to facilitate a conversation with a senior clinician.

Exam revision resources

A £500 reimbursement for study support is available to each candidate who has applied to resit the Part 2 examination. There is no time limit on claiming this financial support.

If you wish to claim reimbursement for preparatory study material, please complete the study support form.

Once this information is received, we aim to process claims within 10 working days.

Refund of exam fee

Pass to fail candidates:

In order to process the refund, please complete the following form:

Fail to pass candidates:

In order for us to process the refund(s), please complete the following form:

Refund of exam fees to non-UK bank accounts

An additional refund(s) will be made:

  • if you subsequently resat and passed the examination after the original fail result was communicated to you
  • if you subsequently resat the examination and failed
  • if registered to sit the 2025/01 diet of the Part 2 examination

Upon completing the above form containing all relevant information, we aim to process claims within 10 working days.

Resit information

We are running an extra diet solely for the impacted candidates on 21 May. Please let us know if you wish to apply for this by Tuesday 22 April. Further diets are also taking place on 16 July and 22 October.

Applications for the July diet will be open 5-12 May 2025. Applications for the October diet will be open 11-18 August 2025.

All affected candidates are offered up to two free resits of the Part 2 examination.

To register for the examination please complete the online form.

Wellbeing support

Those who wish to do so, can access the Wellbeing Hub which provides an excellent source of information and guidance on mental health and wellbeing related topics. Candidates will have access to six sessions with a counsellor.

To access the Wellbeing Hub please follow these quick steps:

1. Visit https://wellbeing.hub.healthhero.com

2. Click “Create a new account’’

3. Complete the following data fields with the information provided below:

- Organisation’s generic username: Federation

- Your organisation’s password: EAPsupport

- Email address: Federation@rcp.ac.uk

4. Set your display name and unique password

5. Click “register”

6. Click on the link within the email to validate and complete the registration process

When accessing clinical services you will need to provide your unique reference number which was emailed to you.
