JRCPTB is responsible for Internal Medicine training and 30 medical specialties and three sub-specialties. The training pathways below will be implemented in August 2021 (group 2 specialties) and August 2022 (group 1 specialties).

New curricula for internal medicine and group 1 specialties will be implemented in August 2022.

The purpose of this guidance for Paediatric Haematology is to expand and provide additional detail to supplement the syllabus for trainees in paediatric haematology.

We are very pleased to announce that agreement has been reached with the GMC and the Statutory Education Bodies for training to be undertaken from August 2022 in Intensive Care Medicine (ICM) in association with the Group 1 physician specialties.
