There will be four broad prioritisation categories (see below) for allocating candidates living and working in the UK to available PACES places.
Up to 12 external clinical credits may be claimed for national examining activities each year. These credits are currently only available for MRCP (UK) examining activities, SCE examining activities and Diploma in Geriatric Medicine examining activities. With effect from 1.1.23 these credits can also be claimed for examining activities relating to the Medical Schools Council Applied Knowledge Test (MSC-AKT), which will form the written part of the Medical Licensing Assessment.
