New Deputy International Medical Director: Dr Jane Wallace

The Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the UK is pleased to announce that Dr Jane Wallace has been appointed as the new International Deputy Medical Director.

A Consultant Geriatrician at Northumbria Healthcare Foundation Trust, Dr Wallace has co-chaired the national specialist advisory committee for Internal Medical Training since 2019, as well as being the Training Programme Director for IMT in the North East of England. She has also previously acted as JRCPTB representative to Kannur in India, leading on ARCPs and accreditation for the IMT programme. Dr Wallace is a fellow and council member for the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh.

Our international Medical Directors and supporting team look forward to working with Dr Wallace in the near future.

Dr Wallace will succeed Dr Alastair Miller in the role at the end of the year. Everyone at the Federation would like to express their enormous gratitude and best wishes to Dr Miller who has worked on behalf of Federation for over 20 years.
