MRCP(UK) is seeking committed consultants, higher specialty trainees (ST3+) to join our Specialty Question Groups (SQGs) and Specialty Certificate Question Writing Groups (QWGs).
We are particularly keen to recruit clinical scientists to join the Clinical Science Group within the MRCP(UK) SQG, contributing their expertise to the development of high-quality examination content.

Role Summary:
- Write and review questions for MRCP(UK) and Specialty Certificate Examinations.
- Attend at least one meeting per year (virtual or in-person).
- Submit a set number of questions annually.
- Ensure content aligns with GMC standards and current clinical/scientific practice.
Eligibility:
- Consultants: MRCP(UK) or equivalent, GMC registered, in good standing.
- Be members or fellows of one of the three Royal Colleges
- Trainees (ST3+): Must hold MRCP(UK) and, if applying to join a QWG, have passed the relevant Specialty Certificate Examination (SCE).
- Active involvement in training and education is essential.
- All applicants should be up to date with appraisal and equality/diversity training.
