We are aware that some candidates applying for the Part 1 2026/02 examination are receiving an error message after completing payment, despite the payment having been processed successfully.

It is anticipated that 2026/2 UK capacity for PACES places will most likely meet demand but if oversubscribed, the following criteria will apply.

There will potentially be four broad prioritisation categories (see below) for allocating candidates applying to available PACES places in the UK.

We are closely monitoring the situation in the Middle East and assessing any potential impact the conflict may have on candidates planning to sit our exams in the near future.
